ITRUST remote support

RustDesk 1.5.0, set up for help.jebit.services.

Windows

RustDesk for Windows (.exe) 25 MB
Official RustDesk, signed by its developers, already set to connect to ITRUST. Run it for a one-off support session, or choose Install for permanent access. Keep the file name as it is: it carries the server setting.

Windows Installer (.msi) 25 MB
For silent deployment through Intune, Group Policy or an RMM tool. The server is built in:

msiexec /i ITRUST-1.5.0-x86_64.msi /qn

This build connects through rd.jebitservices.ca, the previous name of the same server.

macOS

RustDesk for Apple Silicon (M1 and newer) 28 MB
RustDesk for Intel Macs 35 MB

  1. Open the .dmg, drag RustDesk to Applications, and open it. Allow Screen Recording and Accessibility when macOS asks.
  2. Connect it to ITRUST: download set-server-macos.command 2 KB, then in Terminal run
    bash ~/Downloads/set-server-macos.command
Or by hand: in RustDesk open Settings → Network, unlock, and under ID/Relay server use Import server config with the line below.

Already have RustDesk? Adopt it

Points an existing RustDesk at ITRUST and offers to enroll it in the console. If RustDesk is missing it installs the official release first. An existing permanent password is left alone. It asks for an enrollment token: press Enter to skip, and the user can claim the device by signing in from RustDesk.

Windows: in PowerShell, run as Administrator

irm https://help.jebit.services/adopt.ps1 | iex

macOS and Linux: in Terminal

curl -fsSL https://help.jebit.services/adopt.sh | sudo bash

To read them first: adopt.ps1 2 KB, adopt.sh 6 KB. For RMM tools, Install-Helpdesk.ps1 12 KB and install-helpdesk.sh 8 KB take the token and owner as parameters.

Technician: switch servers

While clients are moving over, flip your own RustDesk to the public servers to reach a client that hasn't moved yet, adopt it, then flip back. Run without an argument to flip; mine, public and status do what they say. RustDesk closes for a moment and reopens.

Linux and macOS (as yourself, not sudo):

curl -fsSLO https://help.jebit.services/rustdesk-switch.sh
bash rustdesk-switch.sh

Windows:

irm https://help.jebit.services/rustdesk-switch.ps1 -OutFile rustdesk-switch.ps1
powershell -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File .\rustdesk-switch.ps1

Server config

For any RustDesk client (macOS, Linux, Android, iOS): Settings → Network → ID/Relay server → Import server config.
